The Bit in the Middle

Playing a little ‘Pick-up Sticks’ in the backyard. After the heavy, wet snow in October and the strong winds last month, the grass is littered with twigs and small branches. (There were many big branches, but those were removed earlier.)

I’m looking forward to using them as kindling this weekend.

The last of the grapes just went onto the stove for jelly making tomorrow. Still to go – herbs, a giant zuccini, and tomatoes and tomatoes and tomatoes

Socks. Long sleeved shirt. Hot chocolate. With marshmallows.

Bringing in all the tomatoes, squash and the watermelon..just in case…
