Mango is quite vocal about things he does not like. These include the dishwasher, closed doors and being inside. Wonder how he’ll feel about that once the ground is covered in that cold, wet, white stuff again.

Tulips and daffodils are up, there are bits of green in my lawn, the lilac Is budding, we had lunch at Beau Jo’s then saw some elk on the way home. I bought new shoes and bread and butter pickles – and it RAINED.

Heard on the way up the hill:

The Kid: ‘These are non-newtonian shoes.’

The Husband: ‘I was just thinking; it’s falling rock season’

Not a bad day so far.

Apparently, our cats have graduated from bringing grasshoppers, mice and birds into the house, to bringing snakes into the house. Great.
