The Kid: “I love this place”

We saw and amazing sight yesterday. Hundreds of geese forming a series of giant ‘V’ shapes that stretched across the sky above us and trailing into the distance as far as we could see.

Yesterday I signed The Kid up for middle school. The last six (seven, depending on when you start counting)  years went so quickly. Six more and he’ll be 18 and finished with high school. I have a feeling the next six will go even more quickly
